SURF THE ALPS ⚡️ w/ @alaia.bay crew & the kids
Surfer au milieu des montagnes suisses… c’est assez fou.
Avec les enfants, on a testé cette vague artificielle, chacun avec ses envies, ses niveaux, on en a profité pour progresser.
On a adoré l’ambiance surf : ecole, shop, restau terrasse, poké, bar… ça sent la wax, ça vit comme un vrai spot.
La vague est propre, régulière et exigeante. Toujours la même, donc pas de place pour l’erreur. Ça ne remplace pas l’océan, l’attente, la lecture de vague, cette forme de méditation qu’on aime, mais ici c’est autre chose. Un terrain de jeu pour s’entraîner, se perfectionner et prendre du plaisir ✌🏽

Surfing the Swiss Alps feels unreal, Alaïa Bay
Surfing in the middle of the Swiss mountains feels pretty unreal.
We tested this artificial wave with the kids, each with our own goals and levels, and it turned into a real progression session.
The surf vibe is definitely there. Surf school, shop, terrace restaurant, poké, bar… you can almost smell the wax, it feels like a real spot. The wave is clean, consistent and demanding. Always the same, so no room for mistakes.
It doesn’t replace the ocean, the waiting, the reading, that almost meditative feeling we love, but this is something else. A place to train, improve and have fun✌🏽
